A current browser with JavaScript. Touch or keyboard. No downloads or external network services required. Browser progress works locally; account progress requires the signed-in Hackemist player.

Release notes

Responsive and save-recovery update: the complete board, keyboard, hints, navigation, settings and statistics now fit the player's available width and height. Short wide screens use a side-by-side board and keyboard; small portrait screens use compact controls. Existing save format, accounts, slots, word sequence and progress remain compatible. Recovery-cache failures now pause safely without uncaught errors, and progress backups remain exportable when the SDK recovery archive cannot be read. Verified with 17 rules/persistence tests, 48 full-screen mode/viewport checks, expanded hints and gameplay regressions. Original listing media retained.
