Using Hackemist

These terms apply to browsing, accounts, uploads, gameplay, reviews, the Journal and optional paid services. Read them with the Privacy policy, Community guidelines, Copyright and rights requests policy and any applicable Creator program terms. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Registration and publishing are for adults aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. Use the service only where your activity and the offered content are lawful.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information and protect your password, sessions and publishing credentials. You are responsible for actions you authorize, including connected agents and API tokens. Revoke unused access and report suspected compromise promptly. Do not impersonate others, evade restrictions, defeat paid-access rules or exploit another account. We may require email verification and proportionate checks to protect accounts and payments.

Optional Google sign-in identifies an account through Google's verified identity. First-time users must still accept these terms and confirm the minimum age. Some email addresses require additional mailbox verification. An email match alone does not connect Google to an existing password account.

AI connections and subscription plans

MCP connects an AI client to the account and projects you authorize. Its permissions can include reading private source, changing files and publishing or removing projects. Grant only the permissions you need and review the resulting app before sharing it. Your chosen AI service processes the information you send or authorize it to retrieve under its own terms.

MCP access requires an active eligible subscription when indicated in the plan description. Prices, currency and renewal periods are shown before checkout. Your AI provider's charges are separate. Losing MCP access stops new authenticated MCP operations; existing apps remain subject to their hosting and publication settings. Manual publishing remains available under its displayed limits. Archived plans stop new sales while existing subscriptions retain their recorded terms for the applicable paid period. Publishing and storage limits still apply to paid accounts.

Ownership and hosting permission

You retain the rights you hold in your apps, games, code, assets and writing. You must have the permissions needed to host, distribute and, where applicable, monetize all uploaded material. Respect open-source licenses, attribution and third-party terms. Never upload confidential information, private API keys or passwords into a browser bundle.

You grant Hackemist a non-exclusive license to store, copy, transmit, display and make necessary technical adaptations of your content to provide hosting, previews, version history, discovery, moderation, security and backups. Public listing details and previews may be used to present your listing on Hackemist. This does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated resale. The license ends when content is removed from active service, except for restricted backups and records needed for legal duties or disputes. Lawfully obtained copies may remain with recipients. Public browser code can be inspected by people authorized to run it; private visibility is access control, not copy protection.

Apps and external services

Creators are responsible for their content, descriptions and external services. Hosting or moderation does not certify security, accuracy, compatibility or suitability. Browser, hardware, network and third-party limitations affect operation. The platform hosts built browser artifacts and does not execute uploaded backend programs.

Approved external APIs, multiplayer servers, frames and forms may have their own terms and privacy practices. Review those disclosures before entering information. Creators must not conceal tracking or charges, request credentials deceptively, mine cryptocurrency without informed authorization or bypass runtime restrictions. Upload, storage and permission limits apply.

Saves, versions and availability

Cloud saves work in apps using the save SDK or approved automatic browser-storage syncing. They do not capture every game's memory, all IndexedDB data or externally hosted accounts. Guest saves can remain on the current browser only. Quotas, conflicts, changed app versions and deletion can affect recovery. Keep exports of important work. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent hosting, universal compatibility or loss-free saves.

Journal, reviews and discovery

Journal publication may require review, be automatic or be limited to administrators. Drafts and pending submissions are private to their author and authorized administrators. Edits can return published articles to review. Authors must support factual claims, credit sources and disclose sponsorships. Rankings and reviews must reflect real use. Bots, reciprocal rating schemes and fabricated activity are prohibited. Paid access or creator approval does not guarantee placement or ratings.

Payments, cancellation and refunds

Paid services are optional. Checkout must show currency, price, billing period, renewal terms and applicable taxes before you authorize payment. Recurring subscriptions continue until canceled through the available account or provider controls. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the paid period unless checkout terms or mandatory law provide otherwise. Contact support about duplicate charges, refunds or statutory withdrawal rights. These terms do not establish a blanket no-refund rule or remove mandatory consumer remedies.

New pricing does not silently change an existing subscription agreement. Material recurring-price changes require any legally required notice and consent. Test access is identified and does not create a payment or creator revenue. Creator allocations and payouts follow separate eligibility and provider conditions.

Moderation and appeals

We may restrict content, runtime capabilities, publishing or accounts for policy breaches, credible rights claims, fraud, security or legal duties. Urgent protective action may occur first. Where lawful and appropriate, we provide a reason and opportunity to appeal. Use project appeal controls or /contact with the relevant URL and facts. Repeated infringement or serious abuse may result in termination. Make reports in good faith; lawful criticism is not grounds for removal by itself.

Removal and retained records

You can export account data and request deletion in Settings after resolving subscriptions and pending payouts. Deletion invalidates account access, clears platform saves and reviews, unpublishes owned apps and articles and anonymizes the account. Restricted financial, security, dispute and backup records can remain as explained in the Privacy policy. App removal revokes public launch access and may retain archived versions for recovery or legal duties. Contact support to request erasure of retained personal uploads.

Responsibility, changes and disputes

To the extent lawful, the service is provided with the limitations described here and without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and privacy protections. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration or exclusive foreign court. Contact support first to seek a resolution; applicable jurisdiction rules and mandatory local rights continue to apply.

The displayed update date identifies the current policy. Material changes receive notice appropriate to their effect and applicable law, with renewed consent where required.
