About this app

Your next level starts here. Strong is a complete strength-training workspace: build routines, plan your week, log sets in a focused live session, run rest and interval timers, and track personal records. Explore an exercise library, review training history and progress, record body measurements, and export your data. Finished and unfinished work saves automatically, with Hackemist account synchronization and explicit recovery choices.

Requirements

A modern browser with JavaScript. Browser storage is required for local recovery; a signed-in Hackemist player session enables account synchronization. Workspace JSON is bounded to 63,000 bytes with explicit capacity warnings and backup export. Timer sounds are optional.

Credits

Original app, interface, SVG artwork and code created for Hackemist. An independent workout planner, unaffiliated with Strong Fitness. No third-party runtime services, fonts, images, analytics or tracking.

Release notes

Launch and saving reliability update: the runtime is now a self-contained HTML build, removing separate stylesheet and JavaScript-module fetches during startup. Added a visible startup/retry screen. Fresh signed-in workspaces create an acknowledged initial checkpoint automatically; subsequent routine, planner and workout edits synchronize through the Hackemist progress store. A persistence failure now keeps the latest valid edit in memory while preserving recovery copies, rather than rolling it back. Existing save format, account/slot boundaries and recovery choices are retained. Full workout, planner, timers, records and backup features remain available.

Strong
Strong’s desktop overview with training week, goal ring and original dumbbell artwork.
The actual new-workspace dashboard, with truthful zero training totals, three editable starter routines and a responsive two-column layout.
Desktop routine builder with exercise targets, weights, rest times and superset groups.
An existing upper-body routine is edited through the actual builder. The first two movements share superset A, and weights and rep targets are editable. Drafts save as they are typed.
Strong’s phone set logger with two checked barbell bench-press sets and editable weights, repetitions and RPE.
Actual local workout logging at a native 390 by 844 phone viewport. The checked sets use 70 kg for eight reps and 75 kg for six reps.
Phone workout planner showing a selected day and a scheduling dialog for a lower-body routine.
The scheduling form chooses a routine, date and personal note. Its unfinished draft saves while typing.
Phone exercise library filtered to pressing movements, with muscle groups, equipment and favorite stars.
The app’s real exercise search narrows the library to matching press movements. Favorites and custom exercises are available.
Tablet personal-records table showing bench-press and barbell-row records from a completed local session.
Calculated records from actual entered working sets. Heaviest weight, best estimated one-rep max, set volume and repetitions are shown; warm-ups are excluded.
Landscape tablet training progress with real volume and muscle-distribution charts.
The charts summarize the local demonstration workout. Weekly volume, working sets by primary muscle and workout frequency are calculated from saved history.
Desktop plate calculator and running work-rest interval timer.
The calculator shows matching plates for a 100 kg bar. A real six-round 40-second work and 20-second rest timer is running beside it.
Actual local app interactions: start a session, enter weight and repetitions, complete sets, pause/resume, finish, inspect history and records, browse exercises, and plan a session. Browser-only demonstration; authenticated synchronization is tested separately.
